Lauren Elder lives and works in Los Angeles and holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with an emphasis on Sculpture & Tech. A first-generation American, Elder works across media and techniques spanning the ancient practice of hand-forming clay, developing her own cross-cultural and cross-generational form of communication. Her work has been exhibited in London, Hong Kong, New York, Chicago, Amsterdam, Toronto, and Los Angeles.
